Ka Lam remembers having a passion for makeup from an early age. While her mom was playing mahjong, she would be doing hair and makeup for her friends. An early encounter with inspirational makeup artist Pat McGrath in New York Fashion Week, determined her to express her artistic talents through applying makeup on different faces as her canvas. After studying a wide range of makeup and hair styling courses at the London College of Fashion she has returned to Hong Kong and has worked as a professional makeup artist since 2005. In addition to providing makeup services herself, Ka Lam also has a small team of highly talented makeup artists who can work together with her to provide makeup for your fashion show, event or wedding day.

Over the years, Ka Lam has worked with many international and local celebrities both through her collaboration with a leading music channel in Asia as well as major events and concerts. Her makeup work has appeared in high fashion magazines such as Elle, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan and she has worked for world renowned fashion brands such as Chanel, Dior, Gucci, La Perla, Fendi, Loewe and Vivienne Westwood. She has also been covered by leading local media such as SCMP, HK Magazine, HK Wedding Guide, The List and Localiiz.

Ka Lam also teaches tailored makeup classes on individual or group basis.

Based in a studio in Central, Ka Lam caters to clients in Hong Kong and across Asia, Europe and US.
