Celebrity, bridal & editorial makeup and hair styling service to bring your vision to life.
1. Bookings & Deposit
— All services are by appointment only.
— To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit is 50% of the total service fee and must be paid in advance to reserve your date and time.
— The remaining 50% of the service fee is due on the day of the event.
2. Cancellations & Changes by Client
— The deposit is strictly non-refundable.
— If you need to cancel or change your booking date, the following fees apply based on the notice given:
· Within 1 month of the event date: 100% of the full service fee is charged.
· Within 3 months of the event date: 75% of the service fee is charged.
· More than 3 months notice: The 50% deposit is retained (non-refundable).
3. Rescheduling Due to Weather
— If your event cannot proceed due to severe weather (e.g., Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or Black Rainstorm Warning), we will work with you to reschedule.
— The event can be rearranged to a new date and time that is mutually agreed upon by both parties, subject to availability.
— The original non-refundable deposit will be applied to the new date.
4. Additional Fees & Charges
— Extra Services: Makeup and hair styling for additional people (e.g., mothers, bridesmaids) is HKD1,880 per person.
— For groups of more than 4 people, the rate is HKD1,580 per person.
— Transport: All transport fares for stylists are paid by the client. Receipts (Uber, taxi, ferry) will be provided.
— Remote Locations: An additional fee of HKD1,080 applies for remote locations such as outlying islands and the New Territories.
— Early Arrival: An early arrival fee applies for services starting before 8:00 AM:
— HKD1,080 per makeup artist for arrivals at or before 8:00 AM.
— HKD1,680 per makeup artist for arrivals at or before 7:00 AM.
— Overtime (OT): Overtime is charged at HKD1,080 per 30 minutes or HKD1,680 per 60 minutes.
— Public Holidays: A surcharge of HKD1,380 per stylist applies for bookings on designated public and special holidays.
5. Photography
— Photos taken by Ka Lam or the KALAMAKEUP team may be used for our online portfolio. If you do not wish for your photos to be used on social media, please inform us in advance.
HOLIDAY SURCHARGES
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS & PEAK DATES
All packages include professional-grade, long-wear products suited to Hong Kong's humidity, plus a touch-up kit left with you or your bridesmaid for the rest of the day. On-site service is available at your home, hotel or venue anywhere in Hong Kong; travel surcharges apply for outlying islands, Macau or destination weddings and a surcharge applies for bookings on public holidays. Exact costs are confirmed at your consultation. An additional surcharge of HK$1,380 per stylist will be applied to all services booked on the following public and special holidays. This fee will be applied in addition to the standard package rate. We appreciate your understanding.
